Experience

REALTIME CAPTIONER/QA SUPPORT – VITAC – JULY 2023-PRESENT

·          Work with a team of six others to review captioning work for close to 180 captioners while meeting monthly deadlines for completion.

·          Identify and document transcript errors, inconsistencies, missing content, and low wpm that do not meet the company’s standards.

·          Provide constructive feedback to the captioners based on the QA review, highlight areas for improvement, and offer guidance on how to address issues that have been identified.

·          Ensure that the captioners’ transcripts meet company requirements and industry standards, including client-specific requests.

·          Work closely with the Training department and Management to ensure that QA feedback is effectively incorporated into the company processes.

·          Conduct audits monthly to ensure consistency, compliance, and reliability among our real-time captioners.

Maintain high-quality real-time captions as I move between two roles within the company.
