WORK EXPERIENCE
March 2025 – Volunteer transcriber for Library of Congress; assisted in the transcribing, editing and reviewing of printed and handwritten historical documents from various digital campaigns. Duties include following campaign guidelines of transcription, providing accurate transcribed documents for the restoration of important historical documents of Library of Congress.

March 2025 – Volunteer transcriptionist for Amplify; audio collections from archives within the State Library of New South Wales. Contributions include editing text-generated transcriptions from audio interviews, reviewing other edited transcripts of other contributors to complete accurate

March 2025 – Completed an 80-hour Transcription 101 training course with Type Whizz. Course included quick intensive theory guideline about transcription guideline expectations, rules, transcribing practice audio files using transcription software, Express Scribe.

March 2025 – Completed the Video Captioning and Subtitling Course with Type Whizz. Course included an introduction of various captioning guideline formats, understanding file extensions for subtitles, integrating and extracting subtitle tracks to and from a different video files, and being familiar with common captioning software such as Subtitle Edit, Aegisub and YouTube.
