I have a Masters degree in agriculture and animal science and a broad range of work experience in different fields. Furthermore, I have been bettering myself through training in digital technologies and coding to understand modern applications including artificial intelligence.

I have been looking for new work opportunities for some time now. I am willing, capable and innovative. To broaden my work capabilities, I would like to explore the option of becoming a subscriber. I think I would be highly suited to opportunities as a transcriber of academic materials, however my general knowledge is also very good, so I would be capable of interpreting and transcribing other types of audio materials.

By way of transcribing, I do not have much experience. I have however done a fair amount of AI assisted (SciSummary) proofreading and summarising of online research articles, TEDx videos and YouTube videos. I have recently completed an introductory transcribing course and I am going to continue improving my typing skills through online training apps and the use of AI assisted training.

Late onset of focal epilepsy five years ago has been a big challenge for me, work wise and personally. It is under control and I am moving forward. My curious mind will always be my strongest quality. Work goals are now to focus on finding opportunities suited to my previous experience and in tune with my curious mind. I think transcribing is a perfect match to both.
